Men’s final: Tapia and Coello 6-3, 6-2 Stupaczuk and Sanz
Three editions, three titles. Agustin Tapia and Arturo Coello remain undefeated in Rotterdam after beating Franco Stupaczuk and Jon Sanz 6-3, 6-2 in the men’s final, their first meeting between the two pairings.
The start was not as smooth as the score suggests. Stupa and Sanz came out with real momentum, riding a week in which they had knocked out Ale Galan and Fede Chingotto in the quarterfinals and Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas in the semifinals. They even broke the number ones early. But Coello raised his level at exactly the right moment, the top seeds shut down the comeback, and from there it was one-way traffic.
The title means far more than another trophy. With Galan and Chingotto gone in the quarters, Tapia and Coello stretched their lead in the 2026 Race to 1,780 points. It is also their 10th title of the season, with each player collecting 13,960 euros in Rotterdam. For Stupaczuk and Sanz, playing just their third tournament together since debuting in Madrid, the final secured the fourth seed for the upcoming P1 in Milan. Stupa, meanwhile, is still chasing the title that would extend his run as a champion to ten consecutive seasons.
Women’s final: Sanchez and Ustero 6-4, 6-4 Gonzalez and Josemaria
Ari Sanchez and Andrea Ustero are on a roll. One week after lifting the trophy at Roland-Garros, the Catalan duo followed it up with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Bea Gonzalez and Paula Josemaria in one hour and 41 minutes at the Ahoy.
Both sets followed a similar script. Sanchez and Ustero grabbed the first break, Gonzalez and Josemaria answered to pull it back, but in the tight moments of each set the eventual champions found another gear. The decisive break in the seventh game of the opener set the tone, and they stayed composed through the big exchanges to close it out.
It is their second straight trophy and fourth title of the 2026 season. During the week in Rotterdam they beat both the first and second seeds, including the world number one pairing in the semifinals, and they leave the Netherlands in a stronger position in the Race to finish the year on top. For Gonzalez and Josemaria, the wait continues: they came into the final seeking their first trophy in 105 days.
What the Rotterdam results mean for the 2026 Race
The big picture after Rotterdam is a season consolidating around two stories. On the men’s side, Tapia and Coello keep widening the gap, and their Rotterdam three-peat only hardens their grip on year-end number one. On the women’s side, Sanchez and Ustero are stacking trophies at exactly the right time, turning a hot summer into a genuine run at the top spot.
Behind them, the Stupaczuk and Sanz experiment keeps getting better with every tournament. A final in only their third event together, plus a guaranteed top-four seed in Milan, means the draw in Italy just got a lot more interesting.
